Capital Planning Services Include:

• Analysis of current equipment type, condition and usage​

• Review of future equipment needs​

• Prioritization of needs with the client​

• Specification of equipment upgrades required and timeline​

• VE Solutions

  (Example: client has 10 Dover DMC’s and 50 elevators that need to be modernized, but only has a budget for 10 this year.  We suggest client does only 2 DMC’s this year because even though they are obsolete, we will create a spare parts inventory from the two we modernize)​

When to Consider Capital Planning

Although elevator maintenance companies can give you some amount of capital planning, the type of equipment, recommended scope of work, and pricing will be biased based on what they want you to spend - and what would make their job easier.  When deciding what is best for your building, budget, and future usage, it is best practice to partner with an impartial elevator consulting firm so that you get what you need, and only what you need, at a fair price.
